Lukas Vaclavik is a technical manager for contaminant and residue analysis at Eurofins Food Integrity & Innovation (EFII). He is responsible for coordinating and performing complex method development projects, identifying and solving technical problems, and developing new strategies for new ventures in EFII. Prior to joining Eurofins, he worked at the Center of Food Safety and Applied Nutrition of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, USA. Lukas has authored or co-authored over 40 scientific publications (journal articles and book chapters), mainly focused on chromatographic and mass spectrometric analysis of chemical residues, contaminants and adulterants. He received his Ph.D. in Food Chemistry and Analysis from the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, Czech Republic.
